A few details...

Hello friends and fam!

By now you should have received your invitation. There's a few details to relay when it comes to the next step before we see you at our wedding - first, if you haven't already purchased your plane tickets - do it now! Fares have been fluctuating but it's definitely the time for deals. As low as $90 each way from Salt Lake just last week!

Your RSVP package includes an RSVP card and a MENU ticket. We'll need to know that you're coming, so check the RSVP card with a "yes" in the correct place. And then on the second ticket, the one labeled MENU, add your initials on the line in front of the dinner menu choice that you would like to have on the evening of our reception. If there is more than one in your household that is attending and more than one that would like the same dinner item, just write each of your initials on the line. Place both of those cards back in the pre-stamped envelope and send it on it's way through the mail!

Lastly, if you have any questions regarding lodging in Seaside please don't hesitate to call, email, or text either Ryan, BriAnn, or Heidi. We'd be happy to help you find a great deal or give you more information about the reservations you already have.

We are SO EXCITED that you'll be there on this day. It's only a month away - so soon! We can't wait and know that the day just wouldn't be the same without all of our family and friends there with us.

So excited! We can't wait for you to be here with us on this very special, amazingly wonderful day! (Weather permitting...) Just teasing. We can count on a drizzle here and there, but we promise, the Oregon Coast is fun even on the stormy-gray days.

Save the Date!

You must have received your Save the Date postcard, and now to the important part: WE HOPE YOU CAN MAKE IT!

You probably have many questions for us, we hope you find this blog to be informative and helpful for those FAQ's, but if not, don't hesitate to call, email, text or comment! There are a few things you should know before making your RSVP final...

We have scheduled events from the evening of Saturday, February 25th through Tuesday, February 28th. Return flights can begin Wednesday, February 29th, but if you're not quite ready to end the vacation there you are welcome to stay!

There is a great number of hotels in Seaside to choose from! You may decide that you'd like to stay in Astoria, as well, which is just twenty minutes north of Seaside. Or Cannon Beach has a large selection, and is just seven miles south of Seaside - all areas are a great choice. The bridal party will be staying in Seaside.

We want our friends and family to feel like they can enjoy a few days - a mini vacation - and your kids are more than welcome to be apart of our events and special fun days. On the night of the wedding we will be providing a three bedroom suite where kids can play, swim, eat, and crash for bedtime with two certified childcare providers.

You'll be receiving an itinerary and wedding details package. This will have finalized itineraries with events and activities that you may choose to opt in or out of. Next, you'll receive the formal invitation, at about six-eight weeks prior to the wedding. But if at anytime you need an update or have questions you can find new details here at wefinallypickedadate.blogspot.com; so stay tuned!

The Astoria Megler Bridge is the United States' longest continuous truss bridge.

The Astoria Riverwalk is not only a great place to relax and watch the tides rise and fall, but you will see plenty boats pass through the day, with special markings indicating companies and trading. 

Foggy Cannon Beach is the best way to spend a winter day on the Coast. 

Atop Tillamook Head at the Ecola State Park is breathtaking!

Surfing in the winter? Really?! Actually, the Coastal waters are warmer in the winter as the currents come from California, as opposed to the Alaskan currents you'll find in the summer. Surfing anyone? 

Tillamook Head is not only a gorgeous landmark, but an incredible hike and picnic spot.
